Sergeant Stanley Woodward starb als sein Land Rover am 13. Oktober 1958
auf eine Landmine fuhr.
Er starb sofort.

THE last UKU officer to be murdered by Eoka was Sergeant Stanley Woodward
of the Durham Constabulary. His Land Rover hit a land mine on 13 October 1958
while he was on a mobile patrol near Podromos in the southwest of the Island.
He died instantly and was buried Waynes Keep Cemetery.
