Fatally injured when he was struck by a vehicle whilst setting up diversions to protect the scene of an earlier road traffic accident during the early morning on the A249 dual carriageway near Sittingbourne. Phillip joined Kent Police in January 2005, after previous service in force communications and as a special constable; he was a response officer stationed at Sittingbourne. He is survived by his parents and his sister and his fiancée and her two sons aged 14 and 10 years. |
